The Workshop

The advantage of having our own workshop is that it enables us to have complete control over the design and production process, which, in turn, allows us to create a kitchen that perfectly fits our customers’ individual needs, tastes, and preferences. We make sure to use only the finest quality materials to guarantee the finished products are built to last generations. From the day its installed, and many years into the future, your freestanding kitchen will retain its exquisite natural aesthetics and beauty.

Handmade in the Cotswolds

Using traditional crafting techniques, our original Shaker carpenters put their years of experience into every handmade furniture piece; ensuring that each kitchen unit, cupboard, and cabinet is delivered and installed with impeccable quality in mind.

If you get the chance to visit us at our Cotswold workshop, you’ll see our dedicated, skilled craftsmen, busy at their benches, hand-building and finishing kitchen furniture to the highest standards. Down to the last detail on each cabinet, you can almost see the thumbprints of their craft.

For strength and integrity within our handmade shaker cabinets, we use mortise and tenon joints throughout, with traditional dovetailed hardwood drawer boxes which create the perfect marriage of elegant form and satisfying function. 

For our bespoke furniture, each fascia is made from hardwood tulipwood, the material of choice for painted kitchen units, owing to its strength, stability, and knot-free grain. A faultless smooth paint finish…every time.

All our kitchen furniture is handmade in England at one of our four workshops around the country.
