The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international network designed to promote responsible management of the world's forests. It was established in the mid 1990s. What is Forestry Certification?
Forestry certification is a voluntary, market mechanism designed to improve management of the world's forests. The principles that underlay forest certification include:
The idea behind it is that, through the use of recognisable labels, people will be able to select products that come from responsibly managed forests in preference to those from badly managed forests.
What no Packaging?
Absolutely not! Our furniture is lovingly wrapped in blankets, transported from our workshops located throughout the UK (unlike our competitors who transport their factory produced products from the other side of the world), in a dedicated van and delivered into your kitchen. It really is as simple as that - no boxes, no plastic, no landfill and a very limited carbon footprint.
We’ve been making freestanding furniture for many years, gaining valuable experience creating furniture using traditional, time-honoured cabinet making techniques.
All our furniture is HANDMADE IN ENGLAND in one of our four workshops by teams of craftsmen who are dedicated to creating furniture that’ll give you decades of reliable service. Why not come and see us at our new showroom: Hope House, High Street, Moreton in Marsh, GL56 0LH
