South Downs Oak Kitchen

We were asked to create a dark moody kitchen for a couple whose house is a shrine to medieval living (they run a medieval re-enactment society), and regularly host lively feasts that require large cast iron pots using traditional cooking recipes.

Their brief required a substantial cooker so the Everhot 150i was the obvious choice with its cavernous ovens, adjustable hotplates and three induction rings that are ideal when you need instant heat and accurate temperature control.

Oak cupboards were ‘antiqued’ and complimented by a mix of polished granite and Dekton Trilium work surfaces.

Cupboard fittings included 90 litre waste bins, internal drawers, deep saucepan drawers and an integrated dishwasher disguised as a set of drawers.

No wall cupboards, a huge oak table with benches and carvers chair makes this a really atmospheric kitchen a delight to live in.
